Responsible for two work streams within the NIHR Evidence Synthesis Programme. Oversaw the efficient delivery of work undertaken by 11 research teams on behalf of the DHSC, for NICE and other policy makers. Monitored the governance, quality assurance and finance of this contract and ensured the £12m budget matched our forecast. Was also responsible for the contract management of Cochrane UK and the 20 NIHR-funded Cochrane Review Groups. This included arranging and facilitating contract review meetings, monitoring progress against agreed deliverables, and being the finance lead for the Programme’s budget. Acted as the team’s lead on several functional areas, such as finance, communications, IT and impact. Was also involved in a number of cross-organisational initiatives, including being a mental health first aider and an ambassador for flexible and versatile working.
