I joined the Centre of Excellence for Bechtle Group in Maastricht. the CoE is responsible for X-aaS (anything as a service) offerings for all 11 non DACH Bechtle countries.My responsibility is to develop Device-as-a-Service for Mobile Devices (Phones and Tablets from Apple and Samsung) as part of the Bechtle Daas proposition that also covers for PC-Windows devices (HP and Lenovo) and Apple Compute (Imac, Macbook). HP Software was expanding their organization in 2008 and I was recruited into HP Software Information Management as Sales Executive for the Benelux. The portfolio consisted of back-up/recovery, archive and records management solutions. After the acquisition of Autonomy in 2011 the portfolio expanded widely into the overal end-to-end product lines incorporating both HP and Autonomy products. Responsible for ILM –Information Life Cycle Management (medical and other archiving, records management and retention, backup, etc) software solutions of HP and position these in the Benelux market using HP resources (Storage and account teams). Position, implement and execute Information Governance strategies including compliance rules and regulations for privacy, security based on HIPAA/HITECH and software validation (applying V-model characteristics such as URS/FRS/DS/IQ/OQ/PQ and trace matrix)

Joined Veritas at the end of 2004 just when the company was taken over by Symantec. this created a broad portfolio of both data centre tools as well as security solutions for large corporations. in my role as (global/strategic) account manager I was responsible for the whole portfolio for a limited amount of customers. Main success projects where based on Information Governance projects (mail and data archiving).

Development Director/Corporate Innovation Officer At CapGemini InstituteThis unit was formed late 1998 as a merger result between Advanced Technology Services and the Competence groups of Cap Gemini. In May 2000 the group merged with Ernst & Young Consulting. I was responsible for the Competence Development, Innovation Programs (Security, Digital Transparency, Intelligent Organisation) and Competence Networks. Furthermore was responsible for the coordination of the roll-out of the groups international Alliance Program. As member of the management team I represented Cap Gemini in several forums and (external) communities in order to build a global network of Innovation, Alliance and Development units. In this role I controlled the activities of a development staff consisting of approximately 40-60 professionals, thought leaders and program directors. Personally I fulfilled the role as program director for the development of the Security Practice in the Netherlands.Program Director Service Provider.During this period I was responsible for a R&D project that covered the ICT service Operations for a Tele Services offering (e.g. Distance Learning etc). My main responsibilities where the business planning, Service creation and to build the operational environment (hardware, software, services, SLA’s). Pioneering customers were attracted both internally as external. A network of partners and alliances was utilised during this period.

EGT/Navtech, today called (HERE - owned by a consortium of automotive companies) is the company that has digitized the worlds roadmaps, points-of-interest etc in order to cater for in car navigation systems primarily. In the early 90's car navigation was predominant the market area to develop. the rise of the mobile era with millions of devices, Ipad's smart phones etc and the unmatched opportunities this would create were far beyond imagination. in my role as BD manager I was responsible for promoting the non-car environment with only a limited amount of maps available.
