I have several years experience in a laboratory as a researcher, including time with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Antarctic Program. I've also spent time in private industry in a small telecommunications and technology firm in Wyoming. I have polar experience wintering at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole station in 2017-2018 and helping lead operations at Summit Station in central Greenland. I continue to gain valuable leadership, management, and polar research support experience with Polar Field Services.Specialties: Leadership, inter-personal communication, RF and electromagnetics, education, electrical system debugging, cold environment operations, radio communications and system maintenance, UAS development/testing, analog circuit design, printed circuit board layout and construction, MATLAB programming, test environment set up, and Microsoft Office.Additionally, I have over 15 years emergency response experience, primarily as a search and rescue/swiftwater rescue team member, with years also spent as a volunteer firefighter and ambulance driver.As a passionate hobby, I row whitewater, and have, from time to time, guided it professionally.
