Currently responsible for the design and delivery of internal systems as well as common business policies and procedures across the Group. Also led the project to successfully achieve ISO 9001 accreditation in 2014 and am currently responsible for ensuring that the accreditation is retained. I work closely with the SMT to design and perform internal audits across the business to ensure continual improvement in processes, compliance and reduce overall business risk to the company. I also carry out internal reviews of issues, both financial and operational, to identify causes and recommend solutions to ensure the risk of an issue reoccurring is minimised.Have also twice held interim Regional Finance Director positions when required, as well as Group Financial Controller for a period covering maternity leave. I also have performed regular reviews of TSG's financial reporting tools to ensure that they are accurate and fit for purpose.

The company was NASDAQ registered and headquartered in New York. It also had significant operations in other parts of the world, such as in Greece and the Philippines. I was the Internal Audit Manager for the group, involving reviewing all policies and procedures across the company in preparation for compliance with the introduction of Sarbanes-Oxley. I managed a team of two to achieve this. The position involved significant international travel to other offices to perform audits, and to report back to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis in New York. I also performed investigations on the instruction of the Board and SMT where areas of concern had been raised.

From March 2003 until I left I was Chief Accountant in one of the companies Enstar bought after I was involved in the due diligence process before purchase. I was responsible for the financial management of the company, as well as all reporting requirements, both internally and externally.Other roles included carrying out due diligence procedures on a number of reinsurance companies in run-off that were acquisition targets of Castlewood. Was involved in acquisition projects in London, Germany and USA, and have spent a number of weeks overseas working on these projects. I also spent some time as part of a team working on behalf of one of the largest reinsurance companies in the world (based in Germany) in a run-off advisory capacity.

Bermuda

Spent a large proportion of my time auditing international insurance and reinsurance companies based in Bermuda. Was lead Senior on a number of clients including companies with net assets of over $2.5 billion, and involved working with US, Canadian, UK and International GAAP. Also involved working on SEC reporting requirements in the US.
