The Teilhet Firm LLC represented people injured in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases.The firm was established in 2013 by Rob Teilhet to give a voice to those Georgians who otherwise may never be heard.

Led a statewide, nonpartisan organization committed to turning conservation values into state priorities and protecting the Georgia we all love.

Appointed by the Governor of Georgia to lead the state agency that ensures indigent criminal defendants are properly represented throughout the state. Managed day-to-day operations and agency’s budget of $37 million, overseeing 30 direct reports and ultimately 760 employees in 43 circuit offices. Managed strategic relationships with the agency’s key stakeholders such as members of the Georgia General Assembly, the judiciary, and the executive branch, the Attorney General’s office and the news media. Put in place numerous reforms to strengthen the agency and improve its performance, transparency, and efficiency.

While serving in the legislature, established successful law practice focused on the representation of injured workers in workers’ compensation claims.

Elected to represent approximately 45,000 citizens of Cobb County’s 40th District in the Georgia House of Representatives. Served as a member of the Judiciary, Education, and Industrial Relations committees. Served in leadership as Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus from 2007 through 2010. Managed regular communication with constituents through constituent service and regular constituent mailings. Managed Capitol staff, fundraising and four successful reelection campaigns.

Litigated workers’ compensation matters on behalf of employers throughout Georgia. Responsibilities also included the handling of basic corporate and employment law matters and strategic management of the company’s relationship with the State Board of Workers’ Compensation.

Served as primary attorney responsible for the workers’ compensation defense of the Cobb County School System, the largest employer in Cobb County, as well as representing workers’ compensation claimants in select cases. Also handled cases in employment, contract, and general commercial litigation
