Management Reporting: Preparation of high-quality, monthly management reports, delivered in a timely manner with meaningful analysis, in order to facilitate efficiency, consistency, and enable a unilateral focus and discussion on key financial matters. Work with Brand Finance Director to prepare monthly Executive Leadership presentations.Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare and analyze the Global Brand Advertising & Promotion (A&P) and Indirect SG&A budgets. Lead the month-end close for the Global Brand A&P spend as well as communicate actual results, forecasts, and budgets. Provide explanation for variances, track spend versus the plan, and highlight risks and opportunities to management. New Product Development: Assist the Brand Finance Director with preparation of materials for new production development gate approvals. Support financial analysis of new product initiatives from concept through commercialization. Special Projects / Ad-hoc Support / Analysis: Execute high-quality and timely analysis / support as required. Partner with Healthcare Marketing Director to “own” the brand P&L. Participate in all Brand leadership meetings.Understand and influence drivers of all P&L buckets in support of division objectives, challenge assumptions and drive adjustments as needed. Obtain & provide clarity when numbers are off trend and work with MD to course correct. Ensure attainment of financial and stretch objectives as committed.Prepare timely and accurate category plans, forecasts, outlooks and strategic views.Provide Finance principles and controls to Brand team and proactively develop solutions to optimize P&L driving Net Revenue, Gross Margin performance.Develop strong understanding and optimization of all category trade investment strategies.Focus on Gross Margin Variance Analysis and identify opportunities to support and drive the earnings model.Explain and validate Healthcare category performance variations from historical or expected results.Provide high caliber respected advice / information for all strategic business initiatives (such as sizing, packaging, pricing decisions, etc).Maintain positive and proactive interaction with category/channel management to ensure ongoing, effective two-way working relationships for exchange of quality financial information.Manage functionality, usage and continuous improvement of various financial tools, process and procedures.Special projects, as needed.
