Training Centre Assurance Lead
Current• TOA Induction – Leading the induction for all new trainees to ensure that they are introduced into the FSA in a professional and consistent manner. • Training Management – Working across five key regions to consistently deliver the training program and produce competent Official Auxiliary for the business. • Qualification Development – Working closely with official bodies and OFQOL to create and develop new and improved qualifications within the meat industry. • Service Delivery – Working with our service delivery partners to oversee the delivery off their qualification and implementation.• Level 4 IQA – I am the only Internal Quality Assurance qualified member of the FSA, this enables me to verify trainees practical and theoretical work. • Level 3 Assessor – I am also a qualified assessor; this allows me to pass on my knowledge base to trainee assessors and ensure that trainee OAs are assessed to the correct standards. • Meat Inspector – I am a qualified meat inspector with 25 years’ experience in red meat, white meat and game. • Assessor Management – Responsible for the management of the wider assessor team this consists of 12+ people.
