Served as mayoral appointee to District advisory group focused on bringing DC back to life after the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. The group provided recommendations to safely and sustainably reopen the city through a plan that is based in science and tailored to the needs of the community.The Committee focused on supporting DC's ongoing housing.

Created and calibrated metrics and measures for the enterprise. Managed the authority’s Internal Audit and Internal Controls programs. Led all operational inquiries on behalf of the General Manager through an interactive forum known as BlueStat. Advised the General Manager on the approval/ disapproval of Capital Improvement Program, Engineering, IT and CFO.

Approved IT budgets across all District agencies. Directed the promotion and support of OCTO products and services throughout all District agencies. Assisted agency directors in identifying automated solutions to their business goals. Spearheaded OCTO’s vendor compliance as well as ensure OCTO’s compliance to procurement laws.

Oversaw the fiscal and operational management of 25+ District agencies.

Transitioned state level functions, 300 employees, and $300M from various agencies including DC Public Schools, U of DC, and the Department of Human Services to OSSE.

Raised over $2M in venture capital from institutional fund and accredited investors to launch start-up custom network solutions enabling sports stadiums to capture POS orders for concession operations from patrons’ cell phones or wireless PDAs. Grew valuation from zero to $13.5M+ in less than three years, and negotiated sale of business to lead investor.

Held $83M P&L responsibility and $10M budget responsibility (shared among five production supervisors); directly supervised 100 assembly/floating operators and area assistants; and earned executive commendations for delivering quality, production, safety, process, profitability, and employee morale improvements.

Excelled in multifaceted CIE roles as quality/product/resident engineer and assistant launch coordinator, while obtaining masters in engineering from U of Michigan. Notably, build engineered championship racecar, which resulted in four 1st place finishes and five 2nd place finishes during 1996 North American Touring Car Championship Series (NATCCS).
