I started in the heavy construction industry in my early childhood and have always loved heavy equipment . In ‘97 I started in Local 3 as an operator . I would work for multiple companies as work loads would differ for each employer. I made my way to the ground as a grade setter adapting to GPS grading systems. With my engineering background, I was able to read plans and understand what needed to be built in the projects , small to large . I progressed to foreman for Granite Construction managing multiple crews and projects at a time . 2012 I was promoted to job site superintendent for Granite Construction of Northern California. I worked on a project on the Ca Oregon border for the Dept. Of Forestry. I was then moved to the coastal area and worked on the San Juan road Highway 101 project . That project was nearing completion I then started covering as a General Superintendent working the large area from San Francisco to the north and Paso Robles to the south and Livermore to the east . In 2015, I moved back to Lodi and took a job with Ford Construction . I worked as a Superintendent and my duties included: supervising multiple foremen and construction crews in all areas of heavy civil work . I started working for a Shimmick Construction at the EID Forebay Dam improvements . Some of my relevant work projects include: Waste Management new and old landfill . Folsom Auxiliary Dam structure , Highway 99 overlays and retrofit, Blue Ledge Mine environmental clean up , Apple Ac2 offsite infrastructure ,UC Santa Cruz Drainage improvements,Lincoln Waste Water treatment facility , Sacramento Regional waste water treatment plant, Susanville waste water treatment plant renovation , IKEA West Sacramento , Wilson Riles High school Antelope , Highway 101 interchange San Juan Road Red Barn Monterey county . Camp Roberts waterline and street improvements , Metro air park infrastructure Sacramento , Sun City Del Webb Roseville.
