My role encompassed being responsible for managing a set of high value client relationships and upselling services not currently being utilised for maximum exposure to the business of all services available. The role included working for a varied set of industries providing me with a wide range of experience in negotiating at C-Level.Wherever possible and appropriate I repositioned traditional one off revenue streams into managed services to provide greater recurring profits for the business.Introducing and driving Microsoft Lync (at the time) as a technology offering not currently in place prior to my arrival at Modern Networks. This resulted in one of the largest deployments for the business with over 3,000 end users being deployed for one client and started Modern Networks roadmap for specialising in Microsoft Unified Communications as previously only Cisco was being offered.As the resident Microsoft Licensing Specialist I was responsible for enhancing the relationships with all clients (not just the ones I was responsible for) by advising and implementing correct Microsoft Licensing programmes for greater recurring revenue streams (OVS, Select, Enterprise and Office 365 Cloud Service Provider)Maintaining a reputation as a trusted advisor and negotiating at C-Level within my client base has also lead to working closely with vendors in demonstrating revolutionary solutions to enhance my clients’ businesses. Notably most recently working with some of the worlds’ most well known architectural practices delivering solutions to enhance flexible working practices not commonly available without combining multiple vendors and technologies to enhance their working practices.

I started at Fabric Technologies fresh after University in the Telesales team and progressing through the ranks to Business Development Director.During this time, I had exposure to all elements of the IT sales process from prospecting through to full account management and was the foundation to managing the sales team of 15 people reporting directly to the business owner.
