After finishing secondary school at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in 2012, I went on to achieve a bachelor's degree in Law at Birmingham City University. I currently work as a learner support assistant at Care First Management Services. Care First Skills Tank is a learning and development day provision for individuals who learn differently. Care First caters for learners aged 16+ with learning disabilities or learning difficulties of all levels of ability. This may include learners continuing EHCPs through SEN funding, as well as individuals who may have physical disabilities, PMLD, autism, complex needs, behaviours of concern or visual and hearing impairments, potentially requiring different levels of support.Having started as a volunteer learner support assistant at Care First - Community Prospects CIC - in October 2020, I was offered a role in Head Office as an Administration Assistant in February 2021. Following six months in this job role, I was promoted into the role of Admissions & Transitions Coordinator in August 2021. In September 2023, I took up the opportunity to work as a learner support assistant at Care First Manor Farm.
