Bromley by Bow Health is a primary care organisation with a national and international reputation for innovation. We provide services to 51,000 patients in East London, from four GP Practices: the Bromley by Bow Centre, XX Place Practice at Mile End Hospital, St Paul's Way Practice and the St Andrew's Health Centre. We are committed to creating healthy communities and offer a full range of GP services plus access to psychological services, drug treatment services, midwifery and health visiting services and specialist diabetic services. For the past 25 years we have worked in close partnership with the Bromley by Bow Centre, which offers a huge range of community-based programmes which address the social determinants of health and wellbeing. We also provide hands-on training for new doctors, nurses, health care assistants, phlebotomists and medical students.

Since 2008, The Reader has pioneered the use of Shared Reading to improve well-being, reduce social isolation and build resilience in diverse communities across the UK and beyond. We inspire and support people to read great literature aloud together. This simple idea changes lives and builds communities. Groups we work with include looked after children, people in recovery from substance mis-use, prisoners, individuals living with dementia, parents, teachers, people with mental and physical health conditions and many more. Our ambition is that Shared Reading will become so widespread that everyone, whoever they are, wherever they are, can access one of our groups. We are building a movement of Readers, so that Shared Reading will become part of everyday life.

Settle is an award-winning charity that supports care-experienced young people as they move into their first home, so they can confidently transition into independent living and thrive. Since we launched in 2015, we’ve pioneered a new approach to tackling youth homelessness and created a set of principles that we call the Settle Model. We believe that with the right support, care-experienced young adults can create change for themselves. We provide intensive 1:1 support and coaching that is personalised to the individual. Our sessions are flexible and led by the young person. We focus on growing their strengths and removing systemic barriers that restrict their opportunities.
