Starting from the first of May I have gladly accepted this role in which my primary attention will go to European transportation.

I have more than 25 years of experience in managing logistics and transportation operations (bulk liquids, packed goods, and procurement of non-strategic goods) on operational as well as on strategic level.Since 2014 procurement of electricity, gas and steam are added to my responsibilities. I have set up a supply chain for bulk distribution of Adblue in a shortest time possible. In this job also responsible for SHEQ aspects, closing procurement contracts for logistical services, expansion of the logistics staff and filling-in the supply chain for packed goods. I was also involved in the development of the IT supportive tools. The rapid growth of the company in 2007, tenfold of year before was a challenge by itself.

April 2005 – February 2007Appointed as the Supply Chain Manager for Dureal™ a division of Univar N.V.June 2004 – April 2005Previous to my appointment as being responsible for Supply Chain and Logistic management within the Dureal project (company to be) I have been working on the project on a part time bases and have been in a supportive role on the development of the logistic strategy. During this period I also did some sales & marketing research interviews. Oct. 2002 – May 2004Within the reorganized structure of Univar Logistics & Services (former Vopak Products Europe) appointed as Supply Chain Manager.Aug. 2001 - Oct. 2002. As a member of the European Logistics Team for Vopak Chemical Distribution Europe I have developed and implemented a strategic policy within the area of transportation as part of Supply Chain Management.
