• NNB, HPC –MEH & Main Civils Programmes – ensuring that the principal accountabilities of the contract supply chain are adhered to in accordance with NNB Supply Chain procedures for a portfolio of NEC Contracts.Particular HPC accountabilities (in addition to those of Senior Commercial & Procurement Manager) include;o Oversee contract Supply Chain relationships. Work with collaborative behaviours, in a spirit of mutual trust & cooperation.o Seek to achieve ‘win-win, equitable Supply Chain outcomes for all parties to facilitate early Supply Chain close out (while satisfying cost assurance requirements). Accountable for ensuring that all Supply Chain activities are undertaken with appropriate challenge and review throughout execution of the contract in accordance with NNB Supply Chain Procedures.o Responsibilities under the approved NNB Supply Chain Policy managing contracts & being a direct interface with the supply chain to ensure an embedded nuclear safety culture; the right level of oversight, control & surveillance of contractor activities are set up in NNB & the supply chain in the closeout phase. Via benchmarking, risk management and cost assurance.

• NNB, HPC – CI/BOP, Heat Sink & MEH Programmes – ensuring that the principal accountabilities of the contract supply chain are adhered to in accordance with NNB Supply Chain procedures for a portfolio of 14 FIDIC / NEC Contracts.Particular HPC accountabilities include;o Adopting the role of Intelligent Customer ensuring that stakeholder needs and expectations are met with regard to supply chain probity, value and that the supply chain is treated fairly and equitably.o Responsibility and accountability for the procurement phase – leading in the development of projects contract strategy & reviewing the need & proposed procurement routes for a portfolio of 14 contracts ~£500M @ 2014. Ensuring that the procurement programmes for the contract’s portfolio were aligned and delivered to meet Integrated Work Schedule dates while in accordance with NNB procurement procedures to meet signature of contract requirements.o Accountability for correct administration of Vendor Assessment, information exchange via procurement electronic portal tools, along with ITT preparation, evaluation & negotiation, ensuring that selected tenderers are compliant with scope and supply chain requirements.o Responsible for compliance with the procurement management arrangements & procedures. Ensuring nuclear safety & quality controls embedded within the procurement procedures are complied with & that investment papers are produced & submitted to the delegated authority for review and approval.

• Magnox, Bradwell - Reactor Safestore Cladding (ECI Design and Construction) project – specifically retained (via a new Framework) to support the project manager in discharging Magnox NEC responsibilities, following termination of the G&T CSW contract.Particular Bradwell project accountabilities included;o Responsible and accountable for leading & managing the commercial execution phase including providing an overview of the individual contract and subcontracts to ensure compatibility & alignment with other Bradwell projects including matters such as: Scope of Work/Services & Associated Programme; Prices & Rates Schedules; Key Personnel & Arrangements for Contract Administration incentive arrangements.o Oversee the contract supply chain relationships – working collaboratively in a spirit of mutual trust and co-operation.o Sought to achieve win-win equitable outcomes for all parties to facilitate early supply chain close out. Accountable for ensuring that all supply chain procedures conducted throughout execution of the of the contract were in accordance with Magnox supply chain requirements.o Responsible under Magnox policy for being direct interface with supply chain to ensure safety culture, the right level of oversight, control & surveillance of contractor activities were set up and delivered by the supply chain.My particular NEC Option C Contract Management responsibilities included the following;o Supporting the NEC Project Manager commercially administering the Reactor Safestore NEC Option C (ECI) Design and Construction contract.o Implementing progress and cost management, preparation of contract specific progress reports and reporting and participating in periodic contract reviews.o Manage all commercial correspondence and contractual notices issued in accordance with the contract conditions and Magnox Commercial Procedures.o Ensuring the timely production and administration of payment applications and invoices.

• Magnox South, Bradwell - led the onsite G&T team that delivered the £400 million estimate for accelerated de-commissioning, as well as providing Procurement and Contract Management support to the commercial department.Procurement and Contract Management support on;o Admin Enabling and Turbine Hall Enabling projects. Utilising existing Framework to finalise NEC Option A Work Package terms and conditions. Drafting ITT’s, Works Information, Site Information, CDP 1 and compilation of project Scopes. Developed a Bradwell Framework procurement and sub-contract management process map, to help guide site commercial and sub-contract management staff on their project interactions.o Reactor Safestore Cladding NEC Option C (ECI Design and Construction) project - leveraging procurement/ tender experience, assisting with; ITT documentation. Tender assessment and protocol preparation. Presenting and answering questions on commercial evaluation criteria at mid-tender interviews. Finalising tenderer contract conditions, compilation of contract documentation and de-briefing.• Support the project manager in discharging responsibilities and directly responsible for;o Preparation and commercial evaluation of project work package activity schedules.o Production of the commercial/financial element of the Tender Recommendation Report.• G&T Sector Group Specialist responsible for developing, maintaining and disseminating benchmark data, while providing advice to PM and QS colleagues on key metrics while also supporting clients and consultants on institutional standards. Directly responsible for cost planning on multiple projects and contract documentation preparation.• Responsible for client-side commercial management of works packages on a £140 million 40-acre mixed-use Management Contract in Gloucester anchored by a 250,000ft2 Factory Outlet Centre, with new build and refurbished offices, leisure, supermarket, two hotels, and residential units.

•Implemented/maintained national cost/efficiency measures to support £275+ million of CAPEX.•Identified 2nd tier development priorities, negotiate/agreed sub-contract price matrices – to improve budgeting and enable the challenging of Partner sub-contract procurement.•Preliminaries unit rates template, from project cost analysis – to leverage negotiations.•Development representative to Client, actively involved in developing and delivering new Concepts, to time and budget constraints.•Initiated the development of a Capital Allowance Model for HMRC – to enable substantiation of retrospective, current and future claims, while accounting for varying project specifications.•Directly responsible for project cost planning, budgeting and agreement of partner contractor pricing and contract documentation to satisfy funding arrangements on £75+ million of projects.•Reconciliation of Vendor/Tenant agreements – to mitigate potential project delivery issues.•Led development cost reduction initiative – piloting new modular procurement approach.•Developed Regional Efficiency Ratios – to facilitate optimal schemes at project inception and allow management/reconciliation of design development.•Developed 2nd tier relations so that sub-contractor involvement was concurrent with Partner Contractors.
