Established seven NYC Business Solutions Centers with a focus on business courses and access to capital, securing more than $200 million for small businesses in the last six years. Led business recovery initiatives following Hurricane Sandy, overseeing efforts to disburse more than $20 million for businesses in impacted areas. Built a workforce system with a demand-driven, business focused approach that placed approximately 200,000 people in jobs through 17 workforce career centers. Improved the City's minority and women owned business program by creating new capacity building programs and increasing certification from 700 to nearly 4,000 participants.

Initiated recruitment efforts that attracted Johnson & Wales University. Secured nearly funding to expand the Historic Charlotte Trolley and improve a free shuttle bus system to serve office workers, residents, and visitors. Created a new marketing and promotional arm of the organization to add festivals, farmers markets, and other activities.
