Global PE manager for one of Dow Corning's new business ventures.Functioned as both a leader and individual contributor responsible for process layout, cost estimates, supply chain plans and support of customer sampling.Developed cross-functional teams to leverage outside resources in order to accelerate customer sampling and reduce investment risks.Helped develop and review technical milestones, overall customer sampling plans, strategic market plans, technology intellectual property, material costs and pricing, overall resource plans and competitive material analysis.

Held multiple roles with increasing levels of responsibility for developing processes and materials used in high tech applications, such as semiconductors, displays and vacuum insulated panels.My tenure here focused on a range of projects with a concentrated focus for approximately 10 years on specialty electronics materials. It was during this time that I established clean processes and facilities. This included design, installation and operation of commercial processes to provide electronic materials to market.Leveraged communications skills as part of commercialization project that lead to material sales in excess of $30M/year. Designed pilot and commercial processes to deliver material to customers. Became cleanroom/clean process expert and delivered process solutions to enable commercialization of new materials. Utilized lean concepts, SPC, risk analysis, JIT concepts and ISO standards to ensure project success.Developed skills in process costing, process safety analysis, project managment, equipment selection and facility code requirements.Also held positions in facilities design, manufacturing and special projects. Utilized these experiences and skills as a basis for work to commercialize electronic materials. Integral part of the team that took materials from lab scale thru process scale-up and then to sales to customers. Responsible for process design, process safety, equipment design and procurement, facility design, process startup and operations training.
