About Rob Webber
I am currently a professional rugby coach with the Chicago Hounds in The MLR. My playing career began in 2004 in the Yorkshire Carnegie Academy. From there I moved south to play for London Wasps. After a long and successful time at Wasps I took up the challenge of playing for Bath Rugby. From Bath I ended my playing career with Sale Sharks. Playing over 300 professional games along the way. In that time I have been honoured to represent England and England 7s, as well as the Barbarians. On my playing journey I learnt an incredible amount that I hope to put into coaching now my playing career has finished. Alongside playing I coached Bath University in the BUCS competition and Sandbach RUFC in the RFU Midlands Premier competition. Before taking a full time coaching role with Jersey Reds as forwards and defence coach in 2020. Promoted to Head coach at the Reds in 2021, and winning the RFU Championship in 2023 was a significant highlight of my time at Jersey Reds. My latest challenge is in the USA, where I will be forwards coach for the Chicago Hounds in the MLR.
