Rob worked for various central and local governmental organizations, and as consultant he is specialized in the different aspects of information management. Over the years Rob built op his career in the field of strategic business/IT alignment, information planning and project management. He has been working as information and program manager, advising clients how to improve their IT- demand organization, by defining their business goals and supporting business processes, For the transformation into a learning organization coaching has been for him always an important part of the job. Rob started his career as econometrist at the Ministry of Finance/Tax dept; followed by the Central Bureau of Statistics as project manager revision of the National Accounts; thereafter he made his step to the Port of Rotterdam as information manager/CIO/Vice president Port Innovation. Then he made his step to Management Consultancy, and got assignments at the National Police as concern information manager responsible for the IT- outsourcing and the set-up of the information management function; at the Amsterdam municipality to set up and manage a project portfolio focused on the improvement of their front offices in line with the national e-government program; Advisor and interim manager of ECABO (Education & Examination Organization); Management consultant introducing e–examination for a Dutch Examination organization in the Bank and Insurance industry. Rob is certified in Business Process modeling and ARIS designing. He has also extensive knowledge and working experience with the following IT standards, frameworks and methodologies: SDM, ABD, Prince2, BiSL. Rob owns a Masters degree in Business Administration and Business Informatics from the Rotterdam Business School of the Erasmus University and the Georgia State University, and a Master's in Econometrics of the University of Amsterdam.
