I have been fortunate enough to serve in a number of ways in my career, with each era being a little different than the last. I spent four years managing 30+ people and devising new software programs while increasing efficiencies in two departments for a Social Security Disability company. Then, I spent the better part of five years controlling wholesale goods inventories and sourcing new products to either cut costs or meet current industry trends. I designed and implemented purchasing algorithms and tracking sheets from scratch. During that, I developed a deep passion for coffee and I expanded into to buying green coffee. Happily, I was also able to flex some creativity by assisting in branding and merchandising efforts. I rounded out my efforts in this time by helping to kick off, maintain, and grow a Lean Manufacturing and leadership development system. In the early parts of 2020, I moved into e-commerce, analytics, email marketing, and website management, just as those things got really interesting. I currently spend my time serving as Marketing Director, where I have been fortunate enough to take my breadth of experience and apply it to various campaigns and strategies. I have seen many aspects of business on the creative, managerial, and analytical sides, but the most rewarding thing to me is serving a great team filled with passionate people. I love learning about leadership, creating leadership programs, and being the best leader I can be. And coffee. I really love coffee (and the coffee industry at large).
