Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, I am responsible for both New Business Sales and Account Management of the company’s Guardian Command and Control system and MODAS Mobile Data System developed for the Emergency Services Market. I was hired to develop and execute a formal sales plan that had not existed previously, build a strong sales pipeline and assist with the development of product roadmaps.

Responsible for new business development and sales of ICT Managed Services and Operational Systems to the UK BlueLight market through customer engagement and comprehensive Bid Management. Reporting to the UK Sales Director I delivered new name sales, repeat business and developed a healthy pipeline following a period prior to my joining when little business development had been undertaken within the BlueLight sector. I built and maintained third party relationships and developed “Go to market” strategies for Control Room Systems, ES Communication Systems, ANPR and Network Managed Services.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director I was responsible for new business sales and Account Management within the Emergency Services market and Local Authorities for Northern England, Scotland and Ireland. Working at multiple levels across organisations from C-level to operational and IT staff I managed all aspects of APD’s business with its customers and prospects. The role involved the creation, management and motivation of inter departmental virtual teams to focus on specific opportunities. Virtual teams included both internal staff from all levels across the organisation plus external partners and customers.

Reporting directly to the Public Safety Sales Director for EMEA I was responsible for managing the Northern UK, selling both directly to customers and through channel partners. I recruited new channel partners and managed existing partners to explore new markets and applications of NICE’s core technology such as Military deployment and Interview recording.I was Responsible for all Emergency Services organisations located in: Midlands, North, North Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Eire working at multiple levels through customers from users to senior management.

Reporting directly to the UK Sales Director I managed a territory that included a number of Northgate’s key strategic accounts, and responsible for selling Northgate’s complete portfolio of products, including: Command and Control, Crime & Intelligence, Blue8 Geographic Information System (GIS), ICCS, VP/FPO (fixed penalty), and NMIS Management Information system. I was responsible for new business, Account Management of existing customers and the recruitment and management of strategic partners. The role involved the creation and management of virtual teams for specific opportunities.
