Worked on software for real-time recognition of alphanumeric characters in video on-board a small drone. Specifically on encoding characters for classification by a neural network.Participated in the IMechE UAS Challenge in Llanbedr, Wales, UK.

I led the small Team Bath Drones Marine group, continuing the development of an autonomous underwater vehicle, and participating in the ERL (European Robotics League) Emergency Competition in La Spezia, Italy.

Studied the mechanical differences in craniofacial bones between mutant and wild type zebrafish.

I worked in the Millimetre-wave Technology group in RAL Space at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory as a placement year from the University of Bath. My work was in high frequency circuit design and testing and radio frequency optical design and testing, with applications in space missions for atmospheric science and cosmology.
