I am a forward-thinking and quality-focused brewing consultant, specialising in helping both new brewers find their feet and existing brewers optimise brewery performance.Holding a Diploma in Brewing from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling, I'm experienced in:• Brewery start-ups & commissioning• Brewery expansions & upgrades• QA & QC auditing• Training for new and current brewers• Troubleshooting & locum brewingI gained experience of traditional cask ale brewing as Assistant Brewer at Dartmoor Brewery before becoming Second Brewer at Freedom Brewery, one of the pioneers of craft lager in the UK. I then spent 3 years as QA Brewer at Meantime Brewery, London’s second largest brewery and arguably the largest craft brewer in the UK.Coupled with this, both my employment and my education have furnished me with sound general laboratory practice and, in particular, an in-depth knowledge of QA analysis in a brewery environment. I can oversee or undertake a brew from raw materials to packaging, ensuring a quality product reaches the consumer.
