Cutting his teeth in the 90s as a creative in Portland and San Francisco, Rob returned to Australia as the Creative Director of RBI — one of Australia’s largest publishers in 1999 — where he launched countless magazines and websites, and won several major awards, including Australian Designer of the Year.After a stint helping Foxtel roll out their brand and customer retention programmes, Rob was appointed Creative Director of 3 Mobile where he helped create some of the world’s most innovative mobile sites and applications.After Vodafone merged with 3 Mobile, Rob became responsible for brand governance throughout Vodafone Australia. He also founded a highly successful internal agency responsible for the creative output of all retail campaigns, retention campaigns, plus the design of Vodafone’s 21,000+ retail spaces. Rob also led several ‘above-the-line’ campaigns, including the successful launch of Vodafone’s 4G network.In 2011 he was invited to be an Advisory Board Member to the B-Change charity — a finalist in Fast Company’s World-Changing Ideas Awards in 2017.In 2015, Rob was appointed Creative Director of Cummins&Partners where he led the creative on campaigns appearing on TV, out-of-home, and through-the-line.In late 2015, Rob launched the M | Academy, helping businesses such as Athena, Telstra, Cover Genius, UNSW, AEV, Aldi, Hudson and Otivo articulate, create and launch their brands. In 2021, Rob took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Otivo, one of Australia's fastest-growing and dynamic Fintech brands.
