Natural Stone and Tile Specialist:I have more than 25 years experience in every aspect of the natural stone and tile industry, with a broad technical background in fabrication and installation of all types of dimensional stone, tile and mosaics. Experience in everything from design and manufacturing of tile through cost estimation, sales and installation, makes me a specialist in this field. While with Walker Zanger, I was consistently one of the top five nationwide outside salespeople; implementing sales strategies generating personal annual sales of millions dollars every year. As a member of their Product Development and Design Committee, I was responsible for selecting new materials for their showrooms and also coordinated and managed all aspects of their commercial trade show exhibits across the country. I am also the proud recipient of the Wilson Associates Point of Excellence Award for exemplary service and held a valid California C-54 Tile Contractor License for many years.Sculptor:As a natural stone expert, I was instrumental in sculpting break-away stone models used in the 1998 feature film Godzilla. While with Walt Disney Imagineering, I was responsible for creating sculpted elements for permanent installation theme park rides. Able to effectively transform 2D drawings, photos and miniatures into full-size 3D sculptural elements. Accomplished in taking preliminary design concepts and translating them into successful finished products. Able to understand and hand-draw technical drawings and conceptual sketches. Experienced in estimating labor and material costs and negotiating contracts for small and large-scale projects. Proficient with a wide range of mediums including foam, clay, stone, wood, metal, resin and fiberglass. Experience with silicone mold-making and plaster casting. Broad technical background in fabrication and installation.
