In the senior team at George Heriots School there is an increased emphasis on results as well as playing attractive football. Breaking down game play and picking out the teams strengths and weaknesses is a vital part of the job to help the players strive for greatness in there last year of school. When coaching the junior teams at George Heriots a more developmental view is taken. Here players are encouraged to try new skills and improve existing ones. This will allow them to progress their technical ability over the years enough that they can easily feed into the senior team as they mature.

This role is based in a team of coaches working with Spartans Reds U13s in Edinburgh.

West Lothian

This role includes the planning, teaching and evaluation of sessions designed for young children. The classes here are for kids aged 3-8 years old. The aim of these sessions are to support healthy lifestyles to the young children and introduce them to the game of football and develop basic skills with a correct technique which can be used to mould them into competitive players at later stages in their football careers.

Coaching football to a high standard across schools in West Lothian as well as coaching youth players at Livingston Stadium. Designing and implementing training sessions in order to develop young talent and increase participation throughout the region.

Various Locations Around Livingston

This is a role that I have organised myself where I can use my knowledge and qualifications to run fitness classes and give out advice to clients around Livingston. I have been able to set up several fitness classes around Livingston running different fitness classes such as "exercise to music" to attract a wider base of clients.

West Lothian

This role includes working with children from 3-12 years old with an aim to develop the young players into competitive athletes. Nurturing the players so that they can easily fit into a deserving team and give them the best chance at a successful footballing career .

Whitburn

I hold the posts of Coach and Chairman for a 2000 age group team located in Whitburn, Scotland. Here the main focuses are to promote fair play and positive football from a young age to encourage the continuation of good sportsmanship and a winning mentality going into adulthood.

Livingston

In this position I was able to take my first steps in the gym environment as a gym instructor, gaining experience in many fitness classes such as spin, boot camp and boxersize. I was able to gain experience in taking gym inductions and group exercise classes as well as general administration for the gym.

Livingston

In this voluntary position I was mainly teaching physically and mentally disabled children physical education in a way that catered for the different needs of each child making it beneficial and fun for everyone involved.
