For Merchandise Replenishment, I handle the replenishment of product for two major accounts, making sure that New Releases and weekly sales are accounted for and additional product is available in stores for our retail teams to keep product stocked accordingly. As the Lead Planner, I am responsible for creating and maintaining all planograms for our book and entertainment customers. I am the liaison between our merchandising team and customers to create planograms that are beneficial to both parties, and in turn will create the most sales for all the groups involved.

Develop and maintain all Plan-o-grams for Customers including: Michael's, Shopko, Inc., Best Buy, Books-a-Million, Joseph Beth Bookstores, K-Mart, PetsMart and Staples, along with other small accounts throughout the South East. Helped to establish the space planning department for Baker & Taylor and through it create new business opportunities and enhance current services to customer accounts. Create account specific reports for analysis of yearly sales comparisons, inventory and weekly sales through the use of proprietary software.

Manage ConAgra Frozen, Dairy and Meat Divisions - Frozen Dinners/Entrees, Frozen Poultry, Frozen Snacks, Frozen Novelties, also all Dairy and Meat products. Manage 5 accounts that include Merchants Distributors, Ingles, Lowe's, Galaxy, and IGA. Establish relations with key decision makers to implement sales and merchandising programs that exceed designated sales volume, profit, merchandising activity, distribution, and shelf management objectives. Manage all retail activity and serve as primary link between Account and Retail Broker. Manage all account activity including volume forecasting, deductions, account receivables and payments in partnership with corporate accounting service.

Provide support for space management and section merchandising wall to wall for Lowe's Foods. I also performed analysis of financial data at both the account and market levels, utilizing internal data. Update and maintain plan-o-grams for all categories. Work to increase shelf space for products represented by Acosta, by using internal and syndicated data (i.e. Nielsen and IRI). Develop product specific and shelving information at the store level by scanning sections, and correcting issues/opportunities.

Produce Item ranking reports, Opportunity Gap reports, Promotion Analysis Bulletins, PowerPoint presentation for New Items introduction, Year End Reviews of Accounts. Maintained Frozen accounts, Health, Beauty and Cosmetics accounts, and all Confection accounts. Constructed and assisted in account presentations for sales of new items, marketing of products, and the maintenance of those products. Responsible for yearly reviews of promotional analysis for various accounts and their promotions during major holidays.

Worked on Heinz frozen line dealing with order entry and deductions. In March of 2001, assigned to handle the Tyson Foods frozen and roasted lines. Established a new precedence dealing with Tyson deductions. Maintained Tyson deductions to an all-time low, and reached a milestone by getting Food Lion and Harris Teeter deductions to a zero balance.
