Marketing isn't the business of selling. It isn't the business of convincing someone to buy something. Marketing is the science of creating conditions under which your clients convince themselves to buy your product rather than another. We create those conditions by working the variables of product, pricing, distribution, and promotion. I've applied these principals in a number of positions. As a member of the past ownership team at Elkhart Products Corporation. As a Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Director of Sales & Marketing, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Representative, and Independent Entrepreneur. The same principals apply to all markets that I have served from new home construction, industrial HVAC, power generation, copper mining equipment, construction aggregate equipment, boat brokerage sales, to scuba dive training, and travel. In order to accomplish this, I have advanced my skills in Business Development, Sales Management, Marketing, Direct Sales, Teaching, and Business Planning. In addition to experience, I have added training through Post Grad Executive Leadership Programs focused in Sales Management, Marketing, Law, Finance, Production, IT, Crisis Management, and General Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and Syracuse University. Through the Professional Association of Dive Instructors, I am also a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and CPR Instructor.Today, I provide Marketing, and Sales Management services for clients needing help with start-ups, sales recovery, profitability improvement, market share improvement, and new product introduction.
