• Creating profiles to maximise the activities carried out by personnel while developing shift patterns based on contracted hours and areas of work• Performing a range of HR activities including the management of annual leave and staff sickness• Assigning tasks to over 260 personnel over eight weeks in advance• Developing the prison regime to maintain staffing figures and monitoring staffing schedules to ensure the prison runs safely; offering overtime to staff to cover shortfalls• Creating spreadsheets to effective manage operations and work schedules• Responding to queries from Management regarding overtime pay, sickness, shifts, annual leave, general pay, staffing figures, profiles, regimes and HR issues• Participating in meetings with Management to share best practices and optimise performance

• Serving as a Counter Terrorism Intel Analyst, involving the gathering of extremist/terrorist-related intelligence and regular meetings with the Counter Terrorism Unit• Responding to arising issues within the prison and analysing Security Intelligence Reports to identify patterns of individual prisoners• Serving as the point of contact for Surrey Police regarding assaults that had taken place in the prison• Obtaining Counter Terrorism clearance, developing a comprehensive knowledge of security procedures and regularly undertaking training to improve capabilities

• Ensuring high levels of security on a consistent basis and adhering to regulations and standards• Performing rub-down searches on contractors entering and leaving the premises, as well as searches of vehicles coming in and out of the grounds• Escorting contractors around the prison, ensuring their safety while operating around prisoners
