Lectured across the IS curriculum including IT Service Management, IT Service Agreements, IT Governance, IT Management, IT Audit, Information Security and Project Management.Supervised post-graduate research and authored peer-reviewed papers on subjects including IT Service Management, IT Service Agreements, Information Security and Cloud Computing.Coordinated and managed various courses, years and the department’s tutors.Provided the leadership and guidance for the student software development projects, where teams of students source real clients and work through the whole SDLC to deliver a solution. These projects range from mobile apps to integrated web content management systems. Some projects include infrastructure upgrades and instillation as well as user training.Long standing member of the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) and Association for Information Systems (AIS) on the Special Interest Group for Services (SIG SVC). Author / co-author of 15 peer-reviewed publications on ITSM and the book: IT Service Agreements – A Management Guide. Presented ITSM papers and sat on expert panels at key professional and academic conferences around the world. Developed and delivered professional courses for business leaders in ITSM for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst&Young (EY), Deloitte and the Rhodes Business School.Developed and delivered an accredited Certificate in Sustainable Business Analysis to future business leaders, through the Rhodes Business School, coordinated by Deloitte South Africa and funded by the Financial Services SETA.

While on Sabbatical from Rhodes University, I spent a year in the USA as a Visiting Lecturer. Developed and delivered popular courses and seminars in Personal Computing Effectiveness and Cloud Computing. Also had a fantastic time coaching the AHO Woman's Rugby Team.

I have maintained an association with Kingswood College during this time period having taught Geography, Business Economics and Physical Education on a part- and full-time basis. I was the House Master in Hobson House, responsible for 18 Post-Matric boys.I introduced and managed a successful trampoline club at the school as well as coached a variety of sports including rugby, cricket, squash, athletics and diving.

I assisted in facilitating sport at the university. More specifically, I managed the rugby, soccer, athletics, aquatics, underwater, martial arts, canoe and rifle clubs. Other duties included planning, budgeting, managing facilities and transport.

I worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer.
