Research on how cartographical representation shapes social being and power relations within the city (of Nijmegen) and is a search for a new (cartographical) representation that relies more on becoming and dynamics, on connections and flows of people. BA research towards the position of asylum seekers within the contemporary Dutch asylum policies and the way in which this is being operationalised. Besides a more philosophical perspective on Kafka's question on waiting (in order to get entrance), it also shows an overview of the geographical spread of the nearly hided immigration machine in contemporary society.
