Goal was to at least double the production capacity within a few years. This meant the realization of new production and packaging lines, logistic systems, and adaptations to other existing machinery. At the same time new buildings had to be erected or existing buildings had to be modified or enlarged.To make use of new production lines, all utility installations had to be replaced or expanded during the same period of time.I think I can say that these challenges have been overcome in a super constructive way, while working together with colleagues and contractors in several multi disciplinary teams. The greatest challenge of all was that everything had to be realized while all normal daily production routines remained active and interruption had to be minimized to the max. It feels great to see that we've achieved such great results with a relatively small core team. Now we are facing a whole new era of improvement to our organization by introducing the Lean methods. I am used to big changes in both technical and organizational matters and I'm eager to see how this new way of thinking and acting will enhance the organization and will charge personal boosts.
