• Assist with the preparation of annual US GAAP and Bermuda Statutory financials.
• Prepare, review, and record monthly journal entries including RIP, FET, claims payments, premium receipts, realized and unrealized gains on investments, foreign currency, and monthly accruals.
• Review investor subscription documents including Forms W-8/W-9, Entity, and Individual Self Certification forms, and ensure completeness of KYC items.
• Prepare FATCA and CRS reports to be provided to 3rd parties and ensure their filed timely.
• Compilation of IRS, SEC, BMA, and FCA regulatory reports including W-8BEN’s, Form PF, ADV 1 & 2, Economic Substance, Insurance Manager Return, Reg Data
• Compile information for our tax preparers, including coordination of receiving PFICs from our invested CAT bond administrators, and once completed, provide investors with their respective PFIC statement, Form 5471, or.

• Provide U.S. & Global tax services and advice to clients within the Insurance, Financial Services and other industries
• Review, prepare and submit client FATCA and CRS reports to ensure compliance with the IRS and other global tax authorities
• Act as internal tax team to SEC insurance/reinsurance client by coordinating with our global segmented tax teams in order to consolidate, prepare and review the 10-K/Q tax numbers and footnotes
• Review and advise on U.S. GAAP consolidated, separate company GAAP & NAIC Statutory tax provisions, including controls, eliminations, valuation allowances and tax footnotes for large, multi-billion- dollar SEC.
• Act as lead Senior to assist audit teams as Tax Specialist for review of various U.S. GAAP, IFRS, Bermuda Stat and NAIC Stat tax provisions
• Assist in providing advice on a variety of tax issues including U.S Tax Reform, IRS audits, internal tax & SOX controls, valuation allowances and future projections, 953d elections, notice resolutions, ASC 740/IFRS.

• Provide U.S. Tax services to clients from a variety of industries including; Consumer Services, Farming, Finance, Forestry, Manufacturing, Mining, Private Equity, Real Estate and Retail/Wholesale
• Review and prepare various U.S. tax forms including, but not limited to, Forms 1120, 1120-F, 1065, 8865, 8833, 5472, 5471 and various state returns
• Conduct tax research on Federal, State, Local and Treaty related compliance issues
