I am a professional athlete for the Missoula PaddleHeads in the Pioneer League. It has been my dream to play professional baseball, and I am fortunate to pursue this dream daily as I compete in this season. I have also completed my master's degree from George Mason University in mathematics. I graduated upon giving a final research presentation in April 2024 on Braess' Paradox, a mathematical phenomenon appearing in numerous real-world problems we face daily. I will look to apply to a career that uses interpersonal skills from baseball with the problem solving and applied skills from my mathematics degree to advance the success of a company.My dream ahead is to contribute to more wins in baseball from the front office, analytics department, or any aspect of an MLB organization. I studied mathematics to set myself apart as a problem-solver and become an expert at advanced analytical methods. I am no longer a student, but rather a lifelong learner. I am using my available hours as a professional athlete to learn new programming languages, contribute to baseball analytics projects for my portfolio, and growing my network to answer the right questions in math and sport.I will contribute a continual drive towards excellence in a career. I pursue it daily as a professional athlete. My skills include any mathematical concept that pertain to my degree, but additionally contribute the collaborative curiosity only stimulated through a pursuit of greater truth in the world. I have been fortunate to work with amazing minds and grow myself through an involvement with difficult problems. I hope to solve all of your most difficult problems.
