• Maintains data entry and logs of all acute or skilled facility inpatients through:Verification of member eligibility and benefits upon receipt of hospital face sheet or census• Enters admission information and approved bed days into the ITM as verified by the IPCS CM • Verifies all admission and discharge dates with the facility and/or IPCS CMs• Validates appropriate/required information is entered into the ITM on each case, if incomplete returns to IPCS CM for completion• Timely entry of Clinical Service authorizations of medically necessary clinical services ordered at time of discharge. • Efficiently navigates and utilizes computer data entry programs not limited to: Practice Connect, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel, Right Fax, Adobe Standard for fax attachment process.• Post Discharge Calls.• Effectively communicates with IPCS CMs, ancillary providers, facility staff, and health plans.• Actively participates in the orientation and ongoing training of new employees as needed.
