Created and implemented a new mentoring programme in partnership with Alumni Relations Department which matches current UK undergraduates with Alumni mentors who are working in a professional area of interest to that student. Supporting students to proactively plan for their futures whilst studying at Bristol. Manage and evaluate the programme to ensure positive outcomes for student mentees.

Sport, Exercise And Health

Created University Sport Leadership, Coaching and Volunteer Programme (Game Changers) which provided valuable learning opportunities for thousands of Bristol students. Led a team which recruited and upskilled student role models to be deployed into areas of need within the community of Bristol. Led development programmes for students in positions of leadership to enhance employability and explore career aspirations.

Working within a wider HE partnership team to create a lasting legacy for the South West in the build up to, and period thereafter, the 2012 Olympics. Project lead in Bristol and surrounding region. RELAYS secured extended resources to generate community activity, events/festivals and partnerships to inspire the next generation - all with student volunteering and leadership at the core. In total the programme linked 13 Universities together from across the South West.

Club development coach working with variety of players across one of the largest sport clubs at the University of Bristol. Oversaw two league promotions during my coaching tenure and successfully completed my UEFA B Coaching License. Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of assembling and motivating new teams each season and mentoring players 1:1.

Coached women's football at the University at a time when the sport was thriving and gaining traction across Higher Education and beyond. Enjoyed coaching players from novice all the way through to elite level who trained and played extensively throughout the week. Nominated for University Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2011. Played a key role in the creation of Bristol Ladies Football Club - a new and sizeable community club amalgamated from different partners around the city forming a pathway for girls to train and play from junior to senior level.

Developed and improved a support programme for high performing student athletes to enable them to balance their academic study and commitments to training and competing. Managed a budget to bring in external speakers and provide wrap around support for each squad member such as mentoring and specialist advice.
