Claro música (a Grupo Carso company) is a platform for streaming and downloading music. I was in charge of developing Marketing Strategies and Strategic Alliances across Latin America. Interesting experience understanding the role of creative content within the Tech and Telecommunications Industry. Highlights include involvement in Strategic Alliances with Latin Grammy and Shazam, plus the development of the new Pan-Regional Corporate Marketing Campaign.

Get In Latin America is the Music Services branch of Warner Music in this region. At this post I learnt about the concert promotion side of the music industry. Had the priviledge of leading a talented and motivated team with whom we achieved very positive results. Amongst other events negotiated and coordinated Enrique Iglesias' sold out show (16,000 attendance) at Anahuac University, plus important concerts for Pablo Alboran, Concha Buika, Alex Ubago, Tommy Torres and Love of Lesbian.

Had the very fulfilling experience of leading EMI Music Mexico and later EMI Music Latin America. Together with a great team, contributed to very successful outcomes with artists such as Zoe, Coldplay, Alejandra Guzman, Katy Perry, Enjambre, Kylie Minogue and Paty Cantu amongst many others that contributed to achieving very positive results for the company.

Learnt the very valuable lesson of servant leadership, supporting the team for them to do their job in the best way possible for the good of the artists, company, clients and strategic partners.

A great experience leading the creative team of Universal Music Mexico, together, achieving great results with brilliant artists such as Metallica, Enrique Iglesias, Cafe Tacvba, Belanova, Wisin & Yandel, Keane, Placido Domingo, Snow Patrol and Lady Gaga amongst many more. These results contributed to Universal Music Mexico growing its Market Share from 19% to 24% during this period and increasing revenues and earnings accordingly.

Headed the International Marketing for artists such as Juanes, Paulina Rubio, Molotov, David Bisbal, Cafe Tacvba, Pimpinela and Luis Fonsi among others. Very positive experiences with Latin Grammy and MTVLA Awards.

Co-founder of successful Discos Manicomio, label imprint created inside PolyGram/Universal Music in Mexico. Developing bands such as Resorte, La Gusana Ciega, Illya Kuryaki & the Valderramas in Mexico, and breaking Monterrey hip hop trio Control Machete across Latin America and beyond.
