Actively support dealers, technicians and farmers with the release of new products to the industry. Deliver onsite training for installation, start up and service to ensure a positive outcome for all parties.

Responsible for invoicing customers, accounting for stock and organising appointments direct with dairy farmers. Maintaining and building customer relationships, through providing a professional and efficient service. Sourcing new farms within the area with an aim of predominantly DeLaval sheds and services. Servicing and repairing all dairy machinery and equipment on the farm through the use of inspection reports, communication with farmers and examining the equipment, with a specific focus on robotic dairies. Remain on call at all hours to respond to urgent breakdowns and troubleshoot problems whenever the farmer may require such assistance.

Working independently often in remote areas including work on King Island to reassemble machinery and equipment; dismantling defective machines for repair, using hand tools, clean and lubricate parts, fabricating new metal parts, using drill presses, engine lathes, and other machine tools. Following repair test operation and make adjustments as necessary. Maintain detailed records of all parts used and repairs made. Participate in an on call roster to maintain a consistent service for our customers when required.

Analysing engineering drawings and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations with specific attention paid to onsite work safety plans. Use this information to intrinsically position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, utilising straight-edges, combination squares, callipers, and rulers. Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with a combination of TIG and MIG techniques. This included a large 3 month project in the Victorian desert.

Learning the trade onsite with a globally recognised company. Operating safety equipment and using safe work habits particularly when setting up and using ladders and scaffolding as necessary to complete work. Welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
