In my current role, I divide my time between the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team and the Infrastructure team. I am responsible for security of our operations platform and cloud security in AWS and Azure. Additionally, I oversee the functionality of Windows Server environment. My role involves security administration, patch management, and regular collaboration with various business units, including developers and operations teams, to strategize and implement unique solutions to meet business requirements. My previous role was on our Cloud Platform Engineering team; managing cloud budgets, and leading small projects to migrate systems from on-premise infrastructure to cloud platforms. As the administrator of our CommVault backup environment, a role I have held for over a decade, I ensure company data protection and integrity. My responsibilities include monitoring and verifying successful backups and disaster recovery. Recently, I rebuilt our entire backup environment to enhance performance, reliability, and cloud capabilities.Previously, I worked on a team responsible for Windows servers, Linux servers, SQL databases, Oracle databases, and VMware vSphere. I am committed to growing my leadership skills through implementing and supervising third-party support teams, mentoring, job shadowing, and training subject matter experts. Recently, I have been managing and coordinating the work of an intern, a managed service team, and two subject matter experts seeking development opportunities.From 2017 to 2019, I was the founder and leader of the Citrix User Group Fox Valley. I had the honor of serving as the emcee for the 2019 CUGC Great Lakes regional event, which attracted members from the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes regions.Colleagues know me as a highly dependable and flexible professional with a desire to work closely with partners and users.
