As the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager I am responsible for coordinating the corporate FP&A activities across our organization. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting and analysis. I lead a team of analysts who work closely with other departments in our business to provide financial insight that informs key decision-making processes.

Lead a team of analysts in the delivery of key FP&A functions supporting a portfolio of more than 15 business units which exceed $4 billion of annual revenue. My primary mandate is to provide monthly and quarterly management reporting on income statement results. This is supplemented by off-cycle reporting that supports ad-hoc requests. Our team is also responsible for the administration of the corporate planning cycles in which I have principal oversite over the central services budget. I recently took on a prominent role in the development of a new enterprise KPI which was successfully rolled out to the business in Q1 of 2022. Striving for continuous process improvement I am currently working on a revamp of our monthly reporting framework.

Accountable for the design and delivery of executive portfolio reporting and project based financial analysis. I'm working closely with Graham's operational finance leaders to develop key reports on business drivers in an effort to provide greater transparency and understanding of financial results. Support the quarterly business forecast reviews for our operations group, as well as annual budgeting for Corporate Service groups.

Project based accountant managing day-to-day accounting services for major projects. Key deliverables include client billings, subcontract administration, and weekly cash flow reporting.

Graham is one of the largest construction companies in Canada and specializes in three broad areas of construction; industrial, infrastructure, and commercial. As a payroll accountant it is my duty to reconcile and remit all payments to third party vendors including labour unions, worker compensation boards, and the CRA. Given Graham’s international reach regulatory compliance can sometimes be a burden. An aspect of my role is to ensure our remittances maintain adherence to a given region’s requirements. I have also been known to undertake ad hoc projects regarding reporting and process improvement.
