The empowerment of people is the main theme at Robbie's Creations LLC. This is accomplished by meeting the client to discuss the main objective of the portraiture session. For some the objective is an amazing headshot updating their LinkedIn profile, for others it is for an engagement or an announcement of a special event, and yet for others it is a session with a loved one, be it a spouse, friend, family member, or even a favorite pet. The goal at Robbie's Creations LLC. is to ensure that each client has an amazing experience from the initial consultation, on the phone or in person to discuss their desired outcome. The wardrobe consultation, the portraiture session, and finally the in person selection and ordering appointment to the delivery of the final personalized wall art or albums. The goal has always been to exceed the expectation of each client while providing customized professional portraiture.

My 20+ years of customer service skills allowed me to excel in my position as Loss Prevention & Safety Specialist. I was able to use my ability to train and communicate in a positive manner to improve the safety culture within the store. Often, team members would thank me for going the extra step of explaining the "why" behind the process as they did not know the reasoning behind a specific policy or procedure. I was able to utilize my investigatory and analytical skills in order to help prevent losses to the company from various sources, internal, external, and operational. I communicated with local law enforcement and with other retailers to help prevent and reduce Organized Retail Crime (ORC). I was an active member of the Colorado Organized Retail Crime Association (COORCA) to help reduce the amount of theft in our store and that of the retailers in the area. My outgoing professional personality was a great fit at Lowe's as I worked closely with Fire Inspectors, members of the local Police Department, and vendors which serviced the physical security needs of the store. My attention to detail allowed me to identify and investigate multiple areas to help reduce losses to the company. I enjoyed preparing for inventory as I enjoy ensuring 100% accuracy of product and validating the counts that the managers had conducted on a weekly basis. I was co-chair with the store manager of the store Safety Committee. The goal was to establish a safe, Lowe's Safe working environment. I was able to use my first-aid training (CERT member) to provide immediate medical aid to both customers and employees when required. By using the CCTV camera system I was allowed to not only identify members of ORC in the the store and prevent losses to the Company but also to assist local police in prosecution of suspects. Working in Loss Prevention & Safety allowed me to interact with each team member within the store, at the District level in other stores, and even the Corporate level.

I was able to use my 20+ years of Customer Service and management experience to grow my career at Lowe's. Over the years I have led teams in various departments to excel in providing excellent customer service to customers and fellow associates. I was able to meet and exceed department goals and standards in various departments on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. I was championed to become the Safety guru in the store as this store did not have an in-store Safety manager. I trained associates on how to properly clean up an Hazmat spill when they occur. I collaborated with local HOA's on the product needs of their homeowners. I was able to rally for those associations which needed the benefit of lowe's retaining (only in my store) a discontinued product from a specific vendor. This partnership generated over $300K/year in retail sales for my store. I used my ability to positively influence and train others to share my knowledge of the various areas and help them to feel confident in our department. I assessed team members on their job performance, providing coaching to help them excel. My ability to solve problems and diffuse tense situations in a calm and non-defensive manner allowed me to become one of the "go-to" managers in the store. Helping customers, employees, and vendors is something near and dear to my heart. I enjoy listening, analyzing, and then providing a resolution to the person. I'm thankful that I was able to be a manager at the best home improvement store in the country.
