My role at Phusion IM is largely based on dealings with clients via queries both internally and externally, I am responsible for the cleaning and validation of large quantities of data in accordance with ISO 15926. I have worked on three major projects that Phusion have been associated with including Gorgon (Chevron), Ichthys (INPEX) and Total, with key responsibilities being to provide and process engineering technical data such as equipment specifications, drawings, project documentation and spares co-ordination. Hired while travelling through Australia for a temporary job, soon became a key member of the team working full time hours to cover current staff who could not work.Trained up to become a Barista, dealing with customer orders in an efficient and effective manner ensuring wait times were kept to a minimum and that customers left were satisfied.Was trusted to be left alone to work independently and without supervision, often closing the restaurant down for the manager ensuring that the till was left balanced and the residence was left clean and tidy for the morning.

Initially started out as part of the cafe team, working alongside employees to meet sales targets and key performance indicators to ensure customers were satisfied. This included minimising waiting times, ensuring the quality of food was up to standard before leaving the kitchen and talking to customers to see if anything could be improved further.I was eventually transferred to the York branch whilst i went to university and had to integrate in to the current team, where i continued to develop as an individual learning more about the role and learning the cooking aspect of it. This enabled me to be more flexible in my work, covering staff members and becoming a more valued asset to the company.After finishing university i was transferred back to the redcar branch and was asked to move on to checkouts to become part of their team due to short staff on the particular department. This furthered my potential in the organisation meaning i could be placed where needed at a moments notice, and gave me a chance to use the skills i had learned in dealing with customers through the cafe in a diverse scenario, giving me the opportunity to further these skills.Key skills: Communication, Customer service, Cash handling, Negotiation, Team building.
