I’m a research scientist who loves working in R&D. I find satisfaction in bringing early stage research or product concepts to life and enjoy the journey from an idea on paper to a functional proof of concept.I have a T shaped skill set with a range of interests in technology and research. As a result, I enjoy diverse working environments. Whether I’m designing an experiment, collecting data in the lab, or organising that data and making sense of it, I feel at home. I also think big picture and often have the end user in mind when producing solutions and implementing proof of concepts. This is complemented by my experience in project management and lean start up methodologies.My ideal setting is collaborating with a small and agile R&D teams working on complex problems. I believe in continual improvement and am always looking to throw myself in at the deep end. I like the complex challenges that come with my line of work and believe that any problem can be tackled with enough time and teamwork. In my spare time I enjoy football, cooking, meditating, and travelling.R&D, molecular biology, bioinformatics, Python, data science, Postgres, start-ups.
