I was in charge of front end aspects of the single page Mail Pilot app. I used Ember.js to conditionally render page elements, model page components, and store user data. I also heavily used HTML5 local storage and JSON for saving all of the users messages and data in local storage to make the app much faster to load. Other features I worked on were a complete redesign of the email composer, and a notes feature that allowed users to take note of actionable items as they read through their email.
