As a consultancy, Social Brighton Ltd provide strategy, training and management of social media for business. For Social Brighton Ltd I provide freelance social media management service. In this role I manage social media accounts for a variety of Social Brighton’s clients and assist on training sessions. Prop is a hospitality consultancy & event management company. As a consultancy, we offer profit & loss reporting and analysis, training and development, system reviews and digital marketing. The Event Management service incorporates all logistics and procedures required to run a successful event from conception to delivery. Since launching Prop in 2014 I have been responsible for:- Business consultancy for venues and event spaces within the hospitality industry.- Provision of bars at weddings, charity exhibitions and private functions.- Full planning and management of open-air fund raising events for community groups.- Event planning and assistance on launch parties with global brands Heineken & Pernod Ricard.- Corporate Hospitality Management at the Rugby World Cup & Chelsea Flower Show with Sodexo.- Sourcing, training and managing staff for private events.

I worked as General Manager at Audio and Above Audio in 2010, before becoming Operations Manager for the venue and business in 2012. I was responsible for leading the management team, the everyday running of the venue, all human resource related matters and ensuring the venue operated in a safe and compliant manner. I created budgets to aid maximising profit and set targets for the venue management and promotions team. Supplier contracts for all aspects of the business were to be negotiated and signed off by me. I also took on the role of sourcing and delivering all private hire and corporate functions at the venue, increase venue hire sales via online marketing and local connections.

My role at Coalition was as nightclub manager and deputy general manager for the venue as a whole. Whilst being in charge of the safe and profitable operation of the nightclub side of the venue I would also assist the General manager with the overall operation of the venue, aiding the daytime team when required and being responsible for stock, HR and staff training for the entire venue.Role included: Opened new venue: recruited and trained a new team and oversaw the building and development of newly refurbished 600 capacity flagship venue in March 2008.Full control of operations for the venue's nightclub activities and managing logistics for venue's diverse schedule including live music, comedy club and late night terrace bar.Implementation of procedures to improve service and profitability of venue during daytime, evening and nightclub trading hours.

As assistant manager I was involved in the running of shifts, control of stock and training of staff. Whilst working at the Funky Buddha Lounge I was able to learn the business and develop as a manager.
