I love crunching numbers! And I love accounting in general. Why? Numbers are so precise, and they tell a story. You can analyze those numbers and look at trends, deciphering what will happen based on what those numbers are telling you. I can use the numbers and their story to analyze, strategize, and then communicate a convincing message to guide successful business decisions. I help businesses by providing reliable, consistent, and accurate financial analysis and reports to meet their goals and objectives. Here is my “numbers” story. I have performed a variety of financial assignments over the years. I have extensive cost estimating experience on multiple products including instrument panels, steering wheels, air bags, and hybrid vehicle electronics. My experience encompasses business dealings in Europe and the Asia Pacific regions as well as the United States. Cost estimating, make/buy analysis, competitive studies, and auditing are my strongest areas. The great majority of my work has involved taking new business opportunities from cost estimating to the maintenance of healthy financial management once that business has been won. I prepare, analyze, and evaluate manufacturing studies and other special assignments. I have applied my strong research and analysis skills to help my employer make profitable business decisions, including “make/buy” choices for numerous products.I have taken leadership roles in projects to save time and money, including performance as financial lead on a successful $6-million annual cost savings program. I am adept at juggling multiple projects, successfully managing analysis of programs for different products in different countries and regions at the same time. I plan and prioritize activities wisely and can quickly change focus as needed to get the job done. There is always something new and different in my world of work. I enjoy the challenge and variety that is possible in the role of Financial Analyst.
