As the director, I oversee all day-to-day operations of the museum staff and volunteers and set the priorities for workflow and goal accomplishment. I work as the bridge between the local board of directors and the governing agency. I am responsible for all community and public relations including but not limited to preparation & distribution of press releases, print and live media, local partnership development & implementation, development & oversight of all collateral material including distribution & placement; liaison to the local convention & visitors bureau for program and exhibit promotion; tourism development via group travel operators, consumers and local & state travel partners, I oversee the operation of the gift shop as the primary source of revenue including product purchases; oversight of the budget; accounts payable & receivable & the artist consignment program.Additional responsibilities include public program development and implementation and partnership development with other local organizations.

As the volunteer and marketing manager I oversee the day to day operations, training, recruitment, retention and recognition of the volunteers at the Oklahoma History Center.Additionally I oversee all media buys for the History Center as well as group travel development.

As the Volunteer Coordinator I designed and implemented a Volunteer Services Program for the new facility. I recruited, trained and provided programs for 100+ volunteers to serve a number of positions within the Museum. Additionally, I was the interim membership coordinator for a period of approximately 3 months.
