Video and podcast producer. I get businesses into the eyes, ears and hearts of their target audience using video and audio expertise from animation to podcasts. Over 25 years as a media professional. My career started in radio where I initially worked behind the scenes until one day a travel presenter was ill and I was shoved in front of a microphone. Getting paid to talk into a stick seemed like a good deal so for the next 15 years I worked my way up through local radio before ending up in London presenting the morning show on the national rock station Planet Rock. I also did 100s of interviews with the likes of Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper. I launched Made by DBM in 2015 to help businesses explain stuff and reach bigger audiences using motion graphics. Alongside this, I also offer post-production services such as video editing.Over the past couple of years, the popularity of podcasting has shot up again and it's allowed me to use all the recording, editing, presenting and interviewing skills I gained during 15 years of radio broadcasting to help people make podcasts that are creative, great-sounding and a cut above their competitors.Since launching DBM, I've been trusted by everyone from high-street banks to start-ups to get their messages accross to their target audiences and reach new customers. I specialise in B2B and internal comms though still take on some consumer-facing projects. Every project starts with a friendly, jargon-free chat - you can book a slot here: https://madebydbm.com/contact-me/Made by DBM: Videos and podcastshttps://madebydbm.com

Video And Podcast ProducerMade By Dbm Dec 2015 - PresentBedfordshire, England, United KingdomHi, I’m Rob Birnie aka Made by DBM. I started the business in 2015 to help people explain stuff using the power of animated videos and I’m very happy to still be doing exactly that. Before this, I was paid to hang out with rock stars and spout nonsense on the radio. I was also once employed to be an undercover beer taster around pubs in the north of England. My first job after leaving school was serving customers in a branch of Tandy (remember them?) in a thriving high street (remember them?)Anyway, I’m happiest working where technology and creativity meet. I know my way around industry-standard software packages such as Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro and Maxon Cinema 4D but the more I do this the more I realise my most important skill is quickly understanding my clients’ needs. I work for people in a wide variety of professions which means I’ve learned to quickly digest information (often specialist or complex) and translate it into easy-to-understand, engaging videos.B2B (business to business) and internal comms projects make up the majority of DBM's output though I also enjoy making animations for consumer-facing campaigns including social media marketing and advertising.
