I help VCs and their portfolio companies to position themselves (funds and their portcos) for follow-on capital and public listing.My expertise was built through senior roles in marketing, politics, non-profits and government.I now use the science of communications to help startups and scale ups to simplify and focus their stories so that they can attract enough funding from investors to change the world. In the last few years I've worked with GreenLight Biosciences (a Nasdaq unicorn IPO), and a wide range of tech companies working on everything from fighting climate change (e.g. OceanWings, Radia, Biomason) to curing cancer and improving surgery (e.g. Fidocure and Caresyntax).Previously I've worked on some of the world's most difficult communications challenges. With the UN Climate Change Convention I helped prepare for the Paris Climate negotiations. In agencies I worked on tackling terrorism, healthy eating, cutting smoking and getting people to exercise, as well as working with many of the world's biggest technology companies.In my spare time I founded the Breaking Putin's Censorship campaign, which uses advertising to help Russians access news from the outside world.
