Robert Jan Blomme is Rector and CEO of The Inter-University Center for Organizational Science and Change: Sioo. Chair Board of Directors, reporting to the Board of Commissioners. He is also a Full (Tenured) Professor and the Chair of Organization Behaviour at Nyenrode Business Universiteit (NL). Furthermore, he is a Full Professor Management and Organization at the Faculty for Management, Science and Technology at the Open Universiteit (NL). Robert Jan Blomme has been acting in different executive roles including Dean Degree Programmes and Faculty at Nyenrode Business Universiteit.His teaching and research covers a wide range of topics in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Sociology, Organizational Theory and Change Management. Robert Jan works also as an independent interim manager, management consultant, trainer and coach. During the last 15 years he conducted several change and consultancy projects in a variety of industries. Also he is a specialist in the Birkman method and uses this in personal coaching, mediation and team building. An overview of all projects and commissioners can be provided upon request.Robert Jan has several visiting professorships and scholarships at several universities and business schools including Antwerp Management School (B), AVT Business School (DK), Rijksuniversiteit Leiden (NL) and Hotelschool The Hague (NL). He is also a known public speaker.Recipient of awards and research grants, he published many academic books and peer-reviewed articles in journals including British Journal of Management, International Journal of HRM, International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Management Concepts and Philosophy, Journal of Management and Organization, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality and Journal of Organizational Change Management. Also he has published a diversity of book chapters, management articles and conference proceedings. Besides that, Rob serves as an (associate) editor and reviewer for the international academic community (see for an overview the list of publications) including the position of Editor-in-Chief for M&O: Dutch Journal of Management and Organization.
