We created our own websites along the way, documenting the process. Including many other coding challenges in-between. With a big emphasis on team work and connecting with other members of our cohort throughout the process. The Bootcamp part consisted of even more challenges and intensive workload with new information being thrown at us every day. We focused predominantly on full stack using Javascript. We learnt a huge amount of information and skills in a very short time. We developed a variety of interactive web applications during the process. Our final project was creating a full stack website app in just one week and presenting this live in front of an audience. We had to hone our new coding skills daily whilst managing our time wisely in this fast paced, information intensive environment. Along with the coding we spent time connecting with each other discussing and practicing invaluable human skills in scenario based workshops. There was a huge focus on emotional intelligence and human skills, giving and receiving feedback, inclusive and supportive behaviours in teams, conflict resolution strategies, empathy, difficult conversations and wellbeing to name a few.
